Most of you are probably coming here from my personal blog, but if you randomly arrived here, let me quickly introduce myself (longer version on the About page .  I am a young wife and mother who has always considered myself to be a frugal person (I remember checking out “Freebies for Kids” from the library many, many times as a child!), but during a time of an extremely tight budget in the last year, I learned a LOT about saving money that I’d never even heard of before.  I learned to coupon and actually make money from super deals.  Our family moved to a $20 weekly grocery and toiletry budget, which we’ve managed to stick to this day.  And it wasn’t just $20 worth of beans and rice!  By God’s grace to us, we learned to stretch the $20 each week to fill our cupboards and freezers and even have enough to give away to friends and family.  I’m excited to share some of the things that I’ve learned, and hope it can be a blessing to others.
