  • I also picked up a gallon of milk on clearance, but forgot to take it back out of the fridge for the picture.
• Sav Mor:   $7.00
• CVS:         $0.00**(multiple transactions)
  • Just a note on this: I used a gift card to pay the few cents (a little more a couple of times) remaining after coupons.
• McAlister’s Deli: $.28
  • my husband and I both used the $3 coupons, and $.28 was our total.  Not bad for a quick date!

Total spent: $15.41

Left to spend for 2009: $734.59

Total saved: ~$400.20 (over 90% savings!  I like to hit 90%, if possible, but am thankful for even higher savings…not that I would have bought name brand if I didn’t have coupons.)

Other deals I did to save/earn money:

• I received my check from the Publix Kellogg’s rebate: earn $10
• My husband and his brother test drove a truck (and had fun!): $50 gift card should arrive in a month

Most CVS stores now have their Christmas items marked down to 90% off.  Wrapping paper for $.29, nice gifts for $.99, or chocolate for $.59.  Did someone say chocolate?  And lots of other stuff. Cranberry sauce for $.17.

Don’t forget about the $3 off CVS brand coupon.  Lots of the Christmas stuff is CVS brand, which means you could get $30 worth of Christmas items for free!  Um, $30 worth of chocolate?  Uh. oh.

Yes, Bloom is tripling coupons again, beginning Friday, January 9, through January 11.  As before, the guidelines are:

• Maximum original face value of 99 cents
• Limit of 20 coupons per visit
