If you shop with children, did you know that Publix has a Cookie Club? Just ask for a cookie at the bakery, and your children will have a FREE cookie to munch on as you make your way through the store. This is great for my little girl, who would otherwise rather be out of the cart and running through the aisles! (Of course, a cookie isn’t always the solution! :))
Another thing that is great for little kids are the fun carts. Cookie and cart combine for one happy little girl on shopping days! (But lots of trips to lots of stores…means…maybe not a cookie every time! ;P)
Thanks to my friend Andrea for posting about the cookies!

Publix

Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to search and win with Swagbucks! So far I’ve redeemed all my swagbucks through Amazon.com. 45 points equals $5 in Amazon gift certificates. I’ve ordered 9 books so far that I would have otherwise been able to order this year and am really enjoying this fun way to fund my reading list! (I’d hoped to include a picture, but that’s not working right now.
)
I’ve learned a few more things about Swagbucks since I originally wrote.
- While you only get 20 chances to win per day while logged in, you can actually search and win if you are logged out. You can stay logged out and search until you win. Once you win a Swagbuck while logged out, you’ll still have the option to log in and redeem your swagbucks. This gives you more chances at winning if you use search engines a lot.
- I try to order my Amazon.com orders in orders of $25 or more, so I can get free Super Save shipping. (Obviously, you have to win a lot of Swagbucks, and I’ve only place orders twice so far.
- Swagbucks has also redone the prizes, and it now includes several new and exciting things–you can even earn frequent flyer miles!
- There are a lot of swagbuck codes given away on their blog.
Today is “Swagbucks birthday,” and they’ll be giving away a lot of codes. If you haven’t joined yet, today would be a great day to join (here) and follow along on their blog to get special codes (here).
How do you redeem codes?
- While logged in, click on “The Swag Store” (upper left hand of home page)
- On the top right of the black bar across the top, click on “My Account”
- On the left side, there will be a spot that says Enter Swagcode. Enter (case sensitive, and click on “Gimme”).

Total Left to Spend for 2009: $708.32
- (not including the 2 weeks I am missing)

Go here to sign up to receive a coupon for a FREE Quizno’s sub! You will then be sent an e-mail that contains a link for your coupon, which you may print out. Limit one per person.
Greenville area Quizno’s locations are here.
I’ve printed mine, and am looking forward to redeeming it soon! (I also read that a photo ID is required when redeeming the coupon, so be sure to use your real name!)
Special thanks to local reader Chad for alerting me to this deal.

In case you missed out on all the triple coupons at Bloom, you can get your coupon thrill at K-Mart this week, where they are doubling coupons up to $2 (pre-doubled amount, so you can get up to $4 worth from a coupon).
The guidelines?
- No internet printables
- only 4 of a same item per transaction
- 25 coupons per day limit
A blog at Hot Coupon World has done an amazing job of matching coupons for over 200 items, and there are several items you can get for free! Go here to check it out.
