(No week 3, as I was out of town for father’s funeral)

Week 4 Spending: $5.98
Total left to spend for 2009: $725.30
Shopped at Bi-Lo (all food pictured is on produce manager’s special, at $1.49 a bag/container). I also picked up 9 Jr. Frosties (froze several) from “free” coupons, and did a transaction for 3 bottles of shampoo at CVS (used extra care bucks and gift card=$0.00 out of pocket). For some reason, my camera battery died as I was taking those pictures, and I do not have a picture.

Most CVS stores now have their Christmas items marked down to 90% off. Wrapping paper for $.29, nice gifts for $.99, or chocolate for $.59. Did someone say chocolate? And lots of other stuff. Cranberry sauce for $.17.
Don’t forget about the $3 off CVS brand coupon. Lots of the Christmas stuff is CVS brand, which means you could get $30 worth of Christmas items for free! Um, $30 worth of chocolate? Uh. oh.

Right now, most Greenville CVS stores have leftover Christmas merchandise 75% off or more! Many of these items are CVS brands (gift bags, napkins, etc…). There is currently a $3 off any CVS brand item coupon on page 14 of the Balitimore Beacon (no minimum purchase). With your Extra Care card (ask for one at the front desk if you don’t have one), you can use the coupon to get items $3 or less for free.
How to get your coupon:
1. Go to The Beacon Online.
2. At the top right, select page 14. The coupon is located there.
3. Print, and voila, you have your coupon!
4. Go to store.
You can also use this on any CVS brand items, such as Gold Emblem and Playskool. So, check the labels–there are plenty of items under $3 to use this on!
Expires January 17, 2009.
There is also a $3 off $15 coupon that is not card-specific, expiring 01/09/09. Go here to download (page 29 in the PDF).
