UPDATE (3/4/09): The payout from Cashpaq is now only $6, making the book cost a total of $1.50 after rebates.
I’ve been periodically checking the price of the 2009 Entertainment Book (a coupon book), anticipating that at some point the price would drop! Well, it finally has! It’s now $12.50, and if you sign up for Cashbaq for the first time and order through them, you can, yes, get paid $2.50 to order this book!
The Entertainment Book is a book of coupons for eating out, plays, bowling, and more! Each book is divided by region. You can search by zip code, and it will show whether or not there is a book for your area. The book for our area includes Greenville and Spartanburg.
(If you’d like more info, I wrote about it here, back when you could get the 2009 Entertainment Book for free–a super deal, but nothing like getting paid for it!) Since then, we’ve received our book and have been paid through Cashbaq–yes, it really works!
Here’s how to do it:
1. Sign up for Cashbaq.com
You will receive a $5 bonus for signing up. Cashbaq.com is similar to Ebates, in that you earn money through shopping online through their site.
2. After signing up, you will see a section on the left side of the Cashbaq site called “Shop by Store.” There, select Entertainment Book.
This will bring up an online coupon that says:
Use this coupon in addition to the $10 cash back rebate
$10 off and Free shipping on 2009 Entertainment Books
(You will receive $10 for purchasing through Cashbaq)
3. On the right side, select “use this coupon”
This will direct you to the Entertainment Book website.
4. Enter your zip code and purchase the book (it should come up as $12.50, with free shipping.)
So, you’ll be getting $5 back for joining Cashbaq, then $10 for purchasing the Entertainment Book through Cashbaq! Giving you $2.50! (Or, if you’ve previously joince Cashbaq, you’ll simply be paying $2.50, which is still a discount of 90% off cover price!)
Some great coupons in this book?
- 10% off any Bi-Lo purchase of $100 (can be used as a competitor’s coupon)
- Lots of Buy One Get One Free meal items to almost every locally owned (and several large franchise) restaurants
- Free admission (when another ticket is purchased) to many local museums and historical sites
- hundreds of online coupon codes and much, much more!
please wait...
