I’ve been a thrift shopper for over 25 years, everything from yard sales, estate sales, and thrift shops, resale, consignment, vintage clothing stores, and everything in-between. One of the newest is L’s Consignment at 1445 Augusta Street in Greenville. This is a nice clean store selling fine clothing of designer label fashion, lots of accessories and jewelry items, and home decor and small furniture. It’s great for nice gifts at consignment prices. You’ll find colored ticket items discounted at various amounts. As seasons change there can be markdowns up to 75% off the original consignment price.

I’ll miss your posts, too - but I’m glad you’ll be taking a bit of a break. Although unplanned, I ended up taking somewhat of a break the last couple weeks (mainly due to NBS and prep) not only from blogging but even from couponing, and it was good for me (and my family)! I was getting “coupon/bargain hunting burnout” - and although we’ve undoubtedly missed some good deals, we’ve managed to survive on our grocery stockpile and already clipped coupons. Do you know of any good car repair coupons?! ;o}

Well, we’ll miss you, Keren! Enjoy your time off! If you want a good deal on band-aids, there’s a great deal going on until tomorrow. . . band-aid brand bandaids (lots of different sizes and types) are on sale for $2.19. There’s a coupon in the green Back-to-School Savings ad for $5 off when you purchase three boxes. These flyers are still available in the two publixes I’ve been to lately! This puts the band-aids at $0.52 a box. Unless you have Manufacturer’s coupons to stack with it, then you’d get them for next to nothing! I’ve been stocking up on first aid supplies to make some first aid kits for our home and our car. These will come in handy and are much cheaper than buying premade first aid kits!
